Calling all foodies! It is that time of year again here in the ‘burgh. It is restaurant week and Heinz Lofts is located less than one mile away from some of the best restaurants participating in the Strip District.
Two times per year Pittsburgh restaurants come together and offer huge deals on their food. Some restaurants participate for both lunch and dinner and some restaurants only participate in dinner specials. This summer’s restaurant week is August 13th-19th.
Ever wondered what it was like to dine at LeMont in Mount Washington, but don’t want to pay the equivalent of groceries for a week? Enjoy a three course meal from there for $35.18. Pass by Social House 7 on your walk to downtown from the Bucs game and always think you should give it a try? Restaurant week will be your opportunity to try many new restaurants at discounted prices.
Lidia’s is just 0.7 miles away from the Heinz Lofts and is perfect for the indecisive people who love pasta. Lidia’s will be featuring their signature unlimited chef’s special pasta trio. You get two pastas made locally right at Lidia’s every morning, and one that is imported from Italy. Don’t like one of the pasta choices? That is no problem. You are able to get refills of whichever one you like the most. Finish the meal with lemon basil gelato and shortbread cookies.
Looking for a good seafood option? Head on over to Luke Wholey’s Wild Alaskan Grille for either a three course lunch or dinner. Your whole friend group or family looking for good seafood, but you prefer land? Don’t worry, they have a skirt steak option for dinner that is absolutely delicious.
No one is telling you that you have to stay Downtown or in the Strip District to partake in all of the fun. There are plenty other options available in the East End, Lawrenceville, and Station Square, including BRGR, The Vandal, and Fogo De Brazil.
